Okay, let's start by praising the BBC for great journalism, fantastic drama and comedy television and engaging radio. But Yikes! Of these six tips, I would suggest that my overall impression of complete list would result in approaching a job interview on the defensive. Most of us at 50 (or 60 or 70), still feel at the "top-of-our-game" both from a professional abilities perspective and often from a health perspective as well. While the first five tips may be valid in isolation, focusing on them may be to your detriment in an interview. I would suggest to anyone (not just over-50s), to focus on your unique experience and abilities as a differentiator, and underline Tip #6 "Don't undersell yourself". Many of the other list items such as flexible work can be discussed/negotiated later.
