This trail hike is on my personal bucket list but because of the beauty, opportunity to include other Swedish sites on the trip as well as my spouse's fascination with the Swedish Royals all play a part. However, probably the real appeal for me is the challenge of a long multi-day hike with a little bit of roughing it included. I am not at the life-stage of starting the Eco-Challenge, but I would like something challenging enough through completion that I could feel a true sense of accomplishment.
